Get Started with Cortado
When you sign up for Cortado Pro, a guided wizard walks you through the essentials — creating your organization, adding services, configuring your inquiry form, inviting your team, and connecting the tools you use every day. This page mirrors that flow so you know what to expect.Create Your Account
1
Sign up
Go to the Cortado Pro sign-up page and create an account with your email and a password. If you’d rather not set a password, you can sign in later with a magic link sent to your email.
2
Complete your profile
Enter your first name and last name. You can also add an optional phone number — we’ll use it in the future for important alerts about new leads and activity.
Set Up Your Organization
Once your profile is saved, the guided onboarding begins. First you’ll create your organization, then the step-by-step wizard takes over.1
Create your organization
Enter your business name and contact email. You can optionally add your website. This creates the workspace where your leads, events, quotes, and invoices will live.
2
Add services
Build your service catalog by choosing from preset items (a fast way to get started) or by creating your own custom items. These are the services and add-ons you’ll offer to customers on quotes and in your inquiry form.
You can always add, edit, or remove services later from Settings.
Configure Lead Capture
1
Set up your inquiry form
Configure your embeddable inquiry form with a live preview showing exactly how it will appear on your website. Choose which services are visible, tweak branding, and grab the embed code — available as either a multi-step wizard or a single-page layout.
Bring In Your Team
1
Invite teammates
Add team members by email and assign one or more roles with a multi-select dropdown. You can queue up multiple invites before sending them all at once.
Cortado includes a built-in Admin role with full access. You can also assign custom roles with specific permissions — see the Staff guide.
Connect Your Tools
1
Connect Gmail
Link your Gmail account so you can send emails directly from Cortado and keep conversations in sync with the right lead or event. Once connected, Cortado automatically sets it as your default sender.
2
Set up payments with Stripe
Connect Stripe to accept card and ACH payments from customers.
A contact email on your organization is required before connecting Stripe — Cortado uses it when creating your Stripe account link. If you haven’t set one, do so in Settings first.
3
Start your free trial
Begin your 60-day free trial to unlock the full platform. You can skip this step and come back to it later — Cortado keeps your progress saved.
